Obituary: Robert Webster Clay Buchanan, 68, well-known Hoytville citizen, died Saturday morning at his home, after having been in ill health for the past three years. He was born December 15, 1872, the son of Robert W. and Hannah Fish Buchanan. He is survived by his widow, the former Ellen Price, to whom he was married February 7, 1894; two daughters, Mrs. Mabel Anderson and Mrs. Ruth McCormick, both of Hoytville; four sons, Robert W. C. of Hoytville; George C., of Deshler; Howard D., of Arcadia; and Denzel Rufus, of Bryan; and 12 grandchildren. Services were held Monday at 2 p.m. in the Church of the Brethren, three miles east of Deshler, with Rev. Glen Fruth, pastor, officiating. Interment was in the McComb cemetery, with the Rader Funeral Home in charge.
