Relatives of this place of J. D. Buchanan, who resided near Orwell, Ashtabula county, Ohio, received a message on Saturday that he had passed away on Friday morning. The relatives from Deshler vicinity motoring to Orwell on Sunday to attend the funeral, which was held at 2:00 o'clock, Monday, were: Mr. and Mrs. John VanHorn; Mrs. Maude Tussinger; Mr. and Mrs. E. T. Kline, of Deshler; Mr. and Mrs. R. W. C. Buchanan and sons, George and Howard of Hoytville; Mrs. A. A. McFadden; Mr. and Mrs. George Myrice of Fostoria; and Mrs. John Hatcher of Willard. The deceased was born and raised two miles east of Deshler and was a brother of Mesdames McFadden, VanHorn, Kline and Web Buchanan.
