Harford Burns, 12, Albion, Michigan was instantly killed, when his sled on which he was coasting was hit by a Michigan Central passenger train. The boy's head was cut off and the body badly mangled. The accident happened at the foot of Eaton Street near the railroad station. Albion college students waiting for the train for their return home for the holidays saw the accident. The boy was the grandson and lived with Mrs. Etta Burns. His father lives in Philadelphia.
