Deanna Ackerman, 49, of Deshler, died of natural causes on June 13 at Oak Grove Quality Care Nursing Home, Deshler. She was born April 4, 1941 in North Baltimore to Raymond and Frances (Brown) Leimgruber. Her father survives in Hoytville. Her mother, now Frances Fackler, survives in Deshler. Mrs. Ackerman was employed at Claude Sintz Co., Deshler, for 17 years. Also surviving are a son, John Gallagher, of Deshler; daughters, Mrs. Thomas (Kay) Powell and Mrs. Richard (Tina) Smith both of Deshler; stepson, Charles Ackerman of North Baltimore; six grandchildren; brothers Gary Brown of North Baltimore, Henry Fackler of Findlay, Robert Fackler and Raymond Leimgruber both of Hoytville, William Fackler of Bryan, John Fackler of Deshler and sisters Mrs. Kenneth (Cindy) Isom of Hiawassee, WA, Mrs. Robert (Deb) Fackler and Linda Van Scoder both of Hoytville and Evelyn Hathaway of Deshler. Funeral services were held June 15 at Dubbs-Rodenberger Funeral Home, Deshler, with Jesse Rodriquez officiating. Burial will be in Woodlawn Cemetery, Deshler.
