Elma L. Abrams, 58, of 202 Keyser Ave., Deshler died of natural cause May 12 at Henry County Hospital of Napoleon. She was born Sept. 6, 1928, in Raceland, Ky. to Jacob and Mary (Adkins) Nelson, and her father survives in Ironton. She married John W. Abrams on Oct. 31 1947, and he survives. Also surviving are a son, John E. of Deshler; four grandchildren; four brothers, jacob Nelson, Jr. of Rockford, Ill., Paul Nelson, Ironton, Richard Nelson of Toledo, and Andrew Nelson of Petersburg, Mich., and three sisters, Ruthann Nelson of Lakeland, Fla., Rosemary Russell and Mrs. James (Minnie) Anderson both of Ironton. Mrs. Abrams was a homemaker. She was a member of Free Will Baptist Church of Ironton. Funeral services were held May 15 at Dubbs-Rodenberger Funeral Home in Deshler with the Rev. Earl Key officiating. Burial was in Woodlawn Cemetery.
