Obituary: Funeral services for Henry P. Armstrong, 88, Deshler, were held at Deshler United Methodist Church; the Rev. George Font officiated. Burial was in Woodlawn Cemetery, Deshler. Mr. Armstrong died Thursday, Feb. 26 at Oak Grove Manor Nursing Home, Deshler. He was born Aug. 5, 1892 to Mr. & Mrs. Peter Armstrong. On June 23, 1923, he married Hazel Dumbauld, who survives at the nursing home. Also surviving are a niece and nephew. An attorney from 1922 to 1958, he was a member of the Ohio State Bar Association, the Henry County Bar Association, U. S. Retired Officers Association, Deshler American Legion, Sycamore Lodge 520, Royal Arch Masons 201 and Deshler United Methodist Church. Mr. Armstrong was a graduate of Ohio Northern University, Ada. He was a U. S. Army veteran of World Wars I and II, a former member of the Deshler library and school boards, and a former trustee of the church.
