Mrs. Hazel B. Armstrong, 86, former legal assistant and Sunday school teacher, died April 21 in the Oak Grove Manor nursing home Mrs. Armstrong was a legal assistant to her husband, the late Henry B Armstrong, who practiced law from 1922 until 1958. Mr. Armstrong died in Feb. 1981. Mrs. Armstrong operated her husband's office alone during World War II, when Mr. Armstrong was assigned to the military intelligence division in Washington and achieved the rank of lieutenant colonel. The Armstrongs also taught a Sunday school class for about 25 years at the Deshler United Methodist Church. Mrs. Armstrong was graduated from Ohio Northern University. She was a past Martha of Deshler chapter of the Eastern Star. She was also a member of the Deshler Research Club, the American Legion Auxiliary; the United Methodist Women. There are no immediate survivors.
