Alice Wise, 76, of 14291 Mitchell Rd., Bowling Green, died at St. Vincent Hospital, Toledo. She was born July 11, 1905 in Oakwood to Charles and Alta (Ayers) Kirkendall. She married Fred R. Wise on April 21, 1928 in Fostoria and he survives. Also surviving are two sons, Charles Eugene of Tontogany; Jerry K. of Wauseon; three daughters, Mrs. Norma Wagner of Wauseon; Mrs. Doris Strow of Custar; Mrs. Ruth Garrett of Haskins; a stepson, Ray M. Wise of McClure; 15 grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren. Mrs. Wise was a retired retail clerk for J. C. Penney Co. in Bowling Green where she worked for 15 years. She was a member of the Church of Christ, Custar; the World War I Women's Auxiliary, Bowling Green; and the Mental Progress Club, Custar. Funeral services were at Deck-Hanneman Funeral Home, Bowling Green, the Rev. Leslie Bell officiating. Burial will be in Weston Cemetery.
