Arthur (Mike) Anderson, 81, of Grelton, died June 3 in Henry County Hospital. He had been in failing health for the past six months. He was born in McClure on Feb. 14, 1906, to Axel and Wilhelmina Anderson. On Dec. 16, 1927, he married Marie Hefflinger, and she survives. Also surviving are a son, Michael of Grelton; two daughters, Norma Shanks of Malinta and Marlene Kryder of McClure; nine grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. Anderson was a retired car inspector for the Detroit Toledo and Ironton Railroad. Services were held June 5 in Rodenberger Funeral Home, McClure with the Rev. Jim Nothstine of Sharon United Methodist Church officiating. Burial was in Hoy Cemetery.
